I graduated from the University of Colorado Colorado Springs on May 10, 2024, with a Bachelor of Innovation majoring in Digital Filmmaking with a cross-discipline of globalization. UCCS developed the Bachelor of Innovation (BI) in business to meet the global needs of innovative thinkers. This unique program focuses on bringing together students with complementary skills and interests to work on projects for real companies or their own entrepreneurial pursuits. New and exciting projects are being actively pursued every day. This program provides valuable experience and helps you to create a network of professionals you can use in the future to launch your own business and become a leader in your chosen field.

At the University of Colorado Colorado Springs, I majored in Digital Filmmaking. Digital Filmmaking is a unique interdisciplinary degree that integrates filmmaking, engineering, and business studies. It represents a collaborative effort between the Department of Communications in the College of Letters, Arts and Sciences, the College of Engineering, and the College of Business. This innovative curriculum blends academic coursework, technical expertise, and practical training to equip students with the skills necessary for a range of careers in the film and television sectors. Students engage in hands-on production courses to develop proficiency in film and television creation, alongside gaining exposure to other arts disciplines, business principles, and creative entrepreneurship. Filmmaking students actively participate in collaborative projects, internships, and professional productions, providing them with a competitive edge in the ever-evolving landscape of the film and television industry.
